ANIMAL EDUCATION SEMINAR COMING IN MAY

Farmer Jim's is hosting an animal education seminar and fair, sponsored by Purina, on Sat., May 8, from noon until 8 p.m. at the Falcon High School. Guest speakers will discuss animal-related topics like nutrition and training, and speakers include Falcon veterinarians Dr. Anita Baker and Dr. Jim Friedly, large-animal vet Dr. David Fontanet and Megan Bryant, an animal nutritionist for Purina. Pet bereavement information will be available as well.
Dog obedience, agility, training and grooming demonstrations - to name a few - will run throughout the day. Visitors can register to win regional contest prizes like a John Deere Gator, and fair goers can also enter regional and national sweepstakes that include prizes such as a three-horse trailer. There will be lots of local giveaways and prizes and food, of course, and a chance to meet and mingle with Falcon neighbors.
Falcon business owners can reserve a booth space, display their wares and promote their services at the seminar. If anyone is interested in a booth, contact Ammie Vincent at 495-4449.
Mark your calendars now to attend this unique event and learn more about your animals - small and large.
