  Woodmen Hills new park
  Photos by Angie Morlan

Pastor Pat Jeffreys from Grace Community Church said a prayer and blessing for the park's new addition. Left to right: Woodmen Hills Parks and Recreation Director Eddie Avedikian, Pastor Pat Jeffreys, the president of El Paso County Parks Advisory Board, Jim Mariner, and El Paso County Community Services Planning Manager Elaine Kleckner.

Sisters Kalea and Abrianna Redabaugh, ages 10 and 8, along with another sisters' pair, Mackenzie and Kaitlyn Meyers, ages 5 and 3 1/2, enjoyed playing on the new addition to the Woodmen Hills Park playground. All are from Falcon.

Jim Mariner, president of the El Paso County Parks Advisory Board, cut the ribbon at the park dedication.

New additions to the Woodmen Hills Park were made possible due to funds obtained by The Conservation Trust Fund and The El Paso County Urban Grant.
